The question often comes up about the best gear to use when making beats. Some producers feel that hardware is better than software, and then you have beatmen that feel software is the best road to take when designing beats. To me, it's whatever feels comfortable because truthfully it's not the tools, it's the one who is behind them. But in terms of travel & ease of use in different studio's as well cutting production time in half, software seems to be in the lead... In my opinion of course.
